Everyone thinks your wonderful when your dead
Everyone thinks your wonderful when your dead
the only time theres nothing bad about you ever said
Did you ever hear a eulogy, that was just one bit derogatory
cause everyone thinks your wonderful when your dead
Jack was the meanest man i ever knew
he would curse high heavens till the whole place turned blue
when he died and they put him in the ground,
the preacher would make you believe he was heaven bound
'cause everyone thought he was wonderful when he was dead
Sally was the biggest gossip in our home town
If words were fire and brimstone the whole place would have burned down
but when old Sally passed away, I'll never forget it till my dying day
'cause everyone thought she was wonderful when she was dead
Like everyone else I hope to live untill I die
can't stay here forever , no matter how hard I try
but when I die it don't matter you see
if I'm as bad as the Devil or good as can be
everyone will think I'm wonderful when I'm dead
Everyone thinks your wonderful when your dead..................
the only time theres nothing bad about you ever said
Did you ever hear a eulogy, that was just one bit derogatory
cause everyone thinks your wonderful when your dead
