Eyes Like That

Eyes Like That

Where does a lady get eyes like that?
Are they real
Or they contacts?
Your parents got you off on the right track.
Because any man would chase eyes like that.
You sure you didn't rob them from a cat?
What if the cat wanted them back?
Would you hurry out of there
Or would you give them back?
Hold on,
Wait a sec.

Smile for me please
Because your eyes makes me dream.
Randomly nice dreams,
So I believe what I'm seeing.
Seeing is believing
And those eyes are what I'm seeing;
Grace and self-esteem.
Maybe they're Diamonds
Or the jewels of a queen?
Would you sell them to me
Or could I just view them for free?
I'll just look for free
While you're here with me?
Now how can that be?
Come walk and talk with me.
Let's see how often we agree.

I'm glad
I've found precious looking eyes
That I can view for my sake,
So now you tell me
Shh.. They're fake.

Thanks you for your comment.. You are welcome

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
