    Poem Commentary

Social networks have changed the way people communicate and interact.

    Facebook

    Facebook shows you many faces,
    People posting on their pages
    As they visit different places
    Exposing all for you.
    Many love the satisfaction
    Of getting a reaction
    Of a recent interaction
    But where's the value?
    No more calls of salutation
    Or notes of admiration
    Like we once knew.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
