Farmer village
Persimmon trees, and onions grow
Outside the red-tiled roofs.
Words are strong barriers
But welcome and cheer overcome.
Spice scented hearts
Around our necks;
We await breakfast
And a country day.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
