F.E.A.R (False Expectations Appering Real)
Fear has captured meAnd with its menacing hands clapsed around my throat
Fear has trapped me
Standing in a glass box
I watch as everyone moves and I remain still
Fear has paralyzied me
And when reach for the handle to escape
Fear creeps back up and with deciet It whispers
Out there is the unknown
There are risk
There is failure
There is greed
Promises left unkept linger in the wind
Be afraid Fear taunts
"Such a shame, don't you see?"
This glass box protects you
I am a shield
I guard you from the heartaches
Stay with me
With my pounding heart and tear streaked cheeks
Fear takes over my mind
So I stand in the glass box and I watch
I watch as everyone moves
They move through the broken promises
Through the failures they move
They stand strong in the pain
I watch as they move and they learn from their mistakes
I watch as they are rewarded
I watch as they grow
And here I stand in my glass box
No one notices me
Here I stand alone with fear
I realize fear has limited me
Fear has caused havoc on my mind body and soul
And before I let it seep into my heart
I no longer weep
A burst of flames erupt in me
I kick down the glass box
Everyone haults
For the first time they see me
I smile
And Faith wraps me in its welcoming arms and whispers
"There is no room for Fear when you got me"
