Finding Faith

Finding Faith

How do you find it?

Was it really ever lost?

It would seem to be for the moment.

We tell ourselves we are searching,

We believe it is elusive

We are certain that it is evading for a purpose

We believe our faith will only come when it is meant to be found

What if our faith is never really lost?

What if we have just not seen it for what it truely is?

Could it be that we have not seen it for our own gain?

Could we ever admit that we just shifted our faith?

We believe so many different things about our "lost faith"

Seldom do we see that our beliefs in these reasons for our loss are in fact

A faith all there own

Only when we look inside ourselves

Only when we search our hearts for what we are missing

Only when we are not afraid of what we will find

Only then can we see

Only in the moment that we acknowledge that we have put our faith under a shroud

Only when we can see that we have hidden our faith deep in our hearts

Only then can we truely find what we are missing

It is in that moment

In that hour that we open our eyes

Open our hearts

Push away the fear

Shove out the doubt

Thrust away all the missgivings

The moment we look for our faith right where we hid it away

That is the moment we free to feel our faith again.

Your right...your eyes were just shut and you never seen it in front of you the whole time. :) Thank you for the inspirational read.
