Fireflies
I sleep uneasy
Cuz Im not with you.
And the dreams
they taunt me.
Bringing us together.
And when our eyes meet.
The air is set ABLAZE.
But divided by......... space.
The brightness is cut short.
Locked in your tower.
Denied all but thought.
Make plans of rescue.
But dont, lest i get caught.
Til once you got the chance
to make your escape.
Carried on a zephyr.
Distance unknown.
But fly, fly, fly, away from here
and I wont say a word.
Cuz though some things are ment to be
Others cant help but hurt.
But I know you'll come back for me.
I saw it in your eyes.
And the warm dark sky will glow again.
Then we'll go out and find fireflies.............................
