    First love

Your first love means so much,
its so hard to get over.
and when its gone, but your still trying to hold onto it
it hurts, nothing is the same ever agian

your hear a song or two and breakdown,
cause it reminds you of all those special times
and as the memories come ruching in,
you cry wishing it would just go back to how it was

    remembering that one special moment,
    of your first kiss
will make you cry more, cause it was so special
it was special only because he made it that way
out there at the park on the bench in front of the creek
was the most important memory to me

but now i end this poem with sadness because it just hurts too much thinking about my first love Sean Patrick Lewis.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
