Foreswear You...
foreswear you heaven to bide
with me without, for however the while,
'til together, we seek entry therein.
should those gates be then closed to me
keep company you with me o'er however long
our selfish exile might be;
wandering together , you with me,
throughout whatever cosmos might be
then as now, whenever as before
remain with me always, beyond heaven's door.
has heaven ever been outside these shells;
we have lived in for these varied lifetimes.
didn't we reside in our heaven
while all around us tarried here?
isn't heaven the love that saw us through
amidst this laughter or that tear?
didn't heaven gift us each to the other,
excluding all others
you to me; me to you;
past hells that conquered weaker souls
together, whatever, saw us through.
so tarry with me
now as then
then as before
afore as forever
and ever more.
tarry with me
together we
within and without
heaven's door.
