New Poem Comment Indicator

When one has posted many poems
on this site, it's a drag to have to search through
each one looking for new comments as it is
time consuming.

How about lighting up the poem titles
from red to green when there is a new comment?

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

Yes, and also a indicator saying there are new poems posted by a poet.

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

Those are both great ideas. I agree strongly we need something different.

I will add my voice to the chorus; It would indeed save time...

This may help discourage raters that hit and run hide under the present ramifications. I notice poets whom have posted fantastic poems have their poetry attacked often by faceless critics to which the poet doesn't deserve. I suggest hold them accountable.

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

I hear that, feel that.

There is a tracker bot, that the web masters can install,
to track this mad person, lol.

Ok going back to a post somewhere here.

Garageband.com owed by Ringo Starr
has a set up a site that bands, and they cant upload a song
unless they listen to 3 songs maybe 5 and post a comment and rate it,
also it has a list to the bands of who and all
that has been listening to your songs, and downloaded them,
so you can build a fan base for touring.
So I think Mr. originalpoetry.com needs to look at that.

I love this web site, people are enjoying this,
my friends here, and my fans world wide, like it.
Some even want to sign up just to find the mad people doing that to us.
So just some thoughts.
Peace out

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

if you had to rate and comment on three poems before you posted one and were also able to have your rating(review) rated... it would cut a lot of unread poems, open the site up to poets building their skills, and critics being honest critics

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

i think it would be cool to require a comment if one wants to rate the poem. so if someone wants to love it or hate it they got to tell ya what they loved or hated about it and the comment box should show how the commenter rated the poem.... just a thought. big surprise

Re: New Poem Comment Indicator

yes! please do this! i would love to know when new comments are posted. also it would be awesome if with every comment that is left on a poem...maybe there could be a button where we can reply to the comment that was left, so we can thank the person for the comment and perhaps elaborate on their comment....it would just be nice to be able to interact back and forth on the same page...kind of like how livejournal has it set up. thank you for your time!

All great comments and ideas. Its nice to know the builders and users of this site can work together. There may be some features elsewhere we can look into, many here visit other sites as well. be well all, ken cool smile

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
