You And Me In The MoonlightQuote: The full moon rises o’er the bay The still night air is cooling Your naked silhouette glistening As I sit here, drooling Walk round to my other side Let the moonlight bathe your breasts Then come lie down beside me I’ve shooed away all the pests Just you and me in the moonlight Beside this crystal bay Holding each other through the night Is where I long to stay Last edited by Londo 01-03-2011 at 03:08:17 PM |

RE: Picture Poetry anyone?
Mr. Moon Oh, Crystal Ball up in the sky Can you tell me why? I know you hold the answer My heart can’t bear another lie! I can’t hear you, Mr. Moon! Only the crying of the loon I’m afraid I’m going to break Reveal something to me soon! I hear the whisper of the lake The gentle splashing of the wake But the silence from Your glow Is almost more than I can take Hence the night becomes surreal Somewhere deep inside I feel You spreading peace and warmth The awaited sign that I will heal! RE: Picture Poetry anyone?I admire the animation attributed to the moon! Such things, as we conceive them, are clear to us as to intention, then we must question if the images evoked by this arrangement of words, will affect the reader as hoped---congratulations for hitting the mark (no pun intended)! Writing in the box, and going with the inclinations of the moment, is not always the best result, but you have navigated the photography with grace! |

RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Thank you Marsink! I am honored by your comments! You are right...we never know if the reader is going to truly grasp it... I consider you one of the greats on this site...and I feel like I'm doing it right when you say good things! |

RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Julie, perhaps you should entitle your poem....just a thought. |

RE: RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Quote: Close Your Eyes Close your eyes, my love, as you lay with me We can choose this moment to be blind. The ground has trembled beneath our feet - We fell into this untimely grave. Choose now, my love, to redefine those powerful tremors as music for us. Remember how the sky was blue? Remember how my hand held yours? Darling, reach for me, be closer. I need your arms around me, I need your final breaths to warm my face. Take comfort, love - together we will sleep. Can you, please, just whisper to me? It’s dark and I am feeling scared. Can you feel my eternal embrace? Lean close to me so we can say…goodbye. |

RE: Picture Poetry anyone?I Can't Let Go Embrace our fears to face forever. Stone and earth fills failed frames; Woven together, eye to eye, smile, Love-locked, entangled: history’s claim. Moments escape to shout our dreams, love. Sudden, surreal, solemn sweet whisper: Your arms, inviting, shield from death’s blast; Eternal flower, I can’t let go. Whether days or eras awaiting, We are not lost to war’s dark despair. A love like ours, blessed awakening; The searchers keep antiquities’ care. |

RE: RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Quote: The Ride Of Your Life A single ticket for a single ride Everything you need can be found inside There will be things unseen surprises abound ups, downs, curves, and thrills so hold on tight, or be thrown around Try all you want with plans you make there are many options and many paths to take Some focus on the scenery and some on the speed Some try to slow it down and some grab away with greed Some ride with focus and others without a care Some want to sit still and others try, to go everywhere So ride as you want until your heart is content When your ride is over all you will have, is what it meant |

RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Good job! Enjoyed your interpretation! |

RE: RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Quote: The Coaster Ride The sign said, ‘You must be this tall — In order to board this ride.’ So I stood high up on my tippy tiptoes And about my height, I lied The walrus-mustachioed carnie Had seen this ruse before He tapped my heels with his cane Bringing them to the floor “You’re too little to ride this.” He said as he shooed me back “But I already bought the ticket.” I said and pulled it from my pack. “I don’t care,” he told me It’s too dangerous, by far “You’ve got to be 48 inches So you won’t fall out of the car.” So I ran home to get my bike It wasn’t very far I’m just the right size to ride a bike But, too short to drive a car. |

RE: RE: Picture Poetry anyone?Quote: The Optimist Hail to thee, oh optimist! Methinks it’s looking not so good You might rethink your strategy Yes, I REALLY think you should! Optimists CAN be realists… Are you certain you’re prepared? The odds aren’t in your favor, Why do you not look scared? Could it be that your equipment Might not quite be up to par? Lo, the distance to the bottom It sure seems a bit too far! If the downhill you did conquer I foresee the incline overwhelm, Yet I must abide by your decision, Alas, the captain at the helm. With only seconds now to spare, please don’t wait ‘til it’s too late! Escape while you still can I can’t bear to see your fate! |
