Albums? Folders? For those of us that have posted a number of works, is there anyway, or any need, to institute "albums" or "folders" that we could organize or group our work in? |

Re: Albums? Folders?I think that's a perfectly good idea! I would favorite more poetry or poets if I could organize my favorite poems. I would also post more poetry too if I could organize my own own writings. |

Re: Albums? Folders?Alright, that's what I've been screaming. |

Re: Albums? Folders?A folder/album format may help the poets manage their material, but doing so removes those "titles" from the existing composite list format where all can be reviewed and chosen from, if desired... A folder/album format adds clicks to get to something to read... While this is minor, it does decrease navigational efficiency for the site... For example, should a reader be unsure which folder/album to look in for a specific piece, they must click to explore for it, costing them some time... If they are merely random surfing to look for something to read, they might pick one folder/album, open it, begin reading things, and end up never visiting any of the other folders/albums... This would discount those others to the "maybe some other time" group of poems... I do agree that a folder/album function should be an "option" here as a personal management tool, but not the mandatory default site function... I personally favor the existing composite list format because I like the brief insights from reading through the titles before I chose one... Last edited by laydbak1 06-26-2009 at 10:05:20 PM |

I must admit some titles [for example, the poem "Toilet" got my attention] did attract me. However, the "poets other poems" side-dection only lists to an extent, so some of the newer stuff is almost invisible to a casual reader. In addition, perhaps when rying to find a poem you might like, you may look to the "books" or "albums" to find a "nature" album or something. Let's just see what the folks in charge do. I trust them. |

Re: Albums? Folders?i like that idea that would make it better for people to see different poems |
Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
