    What does this life offer
    take time as it comes
    for tomorrow is gone
    today is yesterday.

    Embrace the kisses
    release your passion
    run fast, skip often,
    The kid inside wants
    to come outside.

    Go without reservations
    cancel all hesitations
    steal away to eternity
    consume scent of destiny

    Look for the endless smiles
    hold onto the changing styles
for in a moment it is over
can't be bought, not even a clover

Be free my friend, for we will soon
meet the end. Be free to bend.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
