Frozen
Frozen, no longer open.
The bars have slammed, the gates now secure,
entrance can no longer be gained,
the lock, is frozen over.
At one time the gates were open wide
the light of love had shown
within my hands, I openly offered
but you refused.
Frozen, no longer open.
The bars have slammed, the gates now secure,
entrance can no longer be gained,
the lock, is frozen over.
Years of separation and pain of not knowing
thought they were over.
The day I seen your face, joy overflowed.
There were smiles and tears shared between the two
Mine of pure truth....yours of a false facade!
Frozen, no longer open.
The bars have slammed, the gates now secure,
entrance can no longer be gained,
the lock, is frozen over.
It's cold!
