Ghost
You play me for a fool
Granted I let you
Nigga you got it good
Hell you got it better
Better than the last one
And the one before that
I give you all of me
Yet you give me nothing back
I'm tired of chasing you
Tired of making you aware
Nigga I be damned
If I beg your ass to care
Day in and day out
One rolling quickly to the next
At the start everything was great
You were doing everything right
Coming home on time
Sleeping beside me every night
You say that she doesn't matter
That you no longer care
That you love me and want me
But your actions simply aren't there
Actions speak louder than words
Your actions are quiet as whispers
Was there for you in hard times
Yet when I needed you
You left me on my own
I needed your comfort
Simply your support
Morally, emotionally, physically
Don't even ask you financially
Odd that I give you all those and more
Never have to ask me
I go to Church
I pray to God
Yet I'm
Laying in bed alone now
What kind of joke is this
Waited for years to have you
Now I got you
I think
Cause right now
All I got beside me
Is a ghost
Where you used to sleep
