Go Love Someone
Take a look and you will see
Why you need to be with me
Brains enough to think for ten
The envy of your former men
See this body, what a hunk
Come and grab yourself a chunk
Me conceded, no indeed
Confident is what I be
And why not, I ask you that
Due to God, I'm truly blessed
In the ways that really matters
Money makes your pocket fatter
But it will not buy you love
Example, your romantic DUD
Gave you cars, a home and glitter
Then he bedded down your sister
You got pissed and beat her down
Turned your smile into a frown
Jerry Springer wouldn't touch it
Now you're struggling with a budget
Kids are squalling, "Daddy's missing!"
Plus you're bitching, cause you miss him
Life no longer seems fantastic
Best friend treats you like an addict
Now you're picking up the pieces
Realize that your kids still need you
They're your focus, no more moping
Single life, you're finally cooping
Still your yearn for human passion
Goes beyond your family's actions
Mind say no, your bod's rebelling
Find a man and get to gelling
Here I am and there you are
Hope I've made this clear so far
Needs are needs, there's no denying
God's intent, unless you're lying
To yourself and will not hear it
Cause past deeds have made you fear it
Ask your doctor, lawyer, preacher
Parents, neighbor,mailman, teacher
God presented Adam with woman
Companionship was sorely wanted
Enter Eve, now Adam's happy
Eve's contended, so's her Pappy
In His wisdom, put together
Man and woman's love forever
And I thank Him for that blessing
I don't think you should be messing
Up your future, love is knocking
Let me in, lets get to talking
For a second or a minute
Even that's a fresh beginning
So don't sit there feeling frighten
Send a message, get to writing
Slow and steady, that's the measure
Love is such a precise treasure
Take it from someone who knows it
Life's to short too waste and blow it
Boldness reaps that special bond
If not me, go love someone
