How Do I Distinguish The Good From The Evil
Listen close folks, as I drop this knowledgeLearned first hand, not from a book in college
Fresh on the scene with the dirty rebels
IEDs, not sticks and pebbles
Mullahs, iemas, ranting and raving
Uneducated masses, they're obeying
Strapping on their man-paks, suicide mission
Looking for us, busting ammunition
To keep'em at bay, all day they're swarming
Trying to make contact, without giving warning
Lethal, lethal, all of these people
How do I distinguish the good from the evil
Men and women, even small children
Trying to take us down, when we're trying to uplift them
Vietnam all over, I wouldn't go that far
But the stuff is getting deep, as we raise the bar
Politicians squabble over control of fuel
Kurds want to keep their own self rule
Sunnis want more of the government take
Shiites don't care, as long as they have their way
But there's no consensus, on three party rule
Each is compelled to just act a fool
And play the name game, while the radicals kill
So who's foe and who's friend, when they all get ill
Lethal, lethal, all of these people
How do I distinguish the good from the evil
Men and women, even small children
Trying to take us down, when we're trying to uplift them
