God's Presence
It is impossible to explain
The overwhelming feeling
To the point that tears
Come down streaming
And the only desire
Is to be there
And be yours, always.
My heart skips a beat
My brain releases a thought
My lips murmur a prayer
While my eyes are fixed on heaven.
Have you ever wondered
What is inside you
When you can’t explain the feeling
And you just let out a smile
When the tears come down your face.
Stay still and all in silence
Whispers someone in my ears
And my hands reach out to touch Him
Who is not even that near.
Hold that feeling
A little longer
Keep the happiness intact
That my Jesus is inside me
And all I want
Is for it, to last.
