    goodbye texas ladies

good bye texas ladies, and late night rodeo's
time has come for moving on
i've misplaced my saddle and my boots are wearing thin,
now it seems my well's gone dry
    chasing bulls and riding broncs,
seem to have lost it's shine
then the western sun winked at me as it moved on out of sight
so goodbye texas ladies and late night rodeo's,
time has come for moving on, time has come for moving on

Boy I would like to know the inspiration for this one! LOL ~ Good writing here, short and to the point.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
