Grandma

Beautiful, thats what you are
Grandma, you are my shining star
Beautiful, thats how you'll always be
Grandma, It's now time to let your soul run free.

Thoughtful you always were
Grandma, your words are so pure
Thoughtful, thats how you'll always be
Grandma, your words will stay inside of me

Helpful whenever I needed you
Grandma, from you my strength grew
Helpful to everyone you meet
Grandma, we feel that we haven't had enough help yet.

God will welcome my beautiful grandma to heaven
God knows of all the help she has given
I now take my grandma's thoughtfulness
For I will think of her everyday
God will take care of my Grandma
Until I see her in heaven one fine day.

             I LOVE YOU!!

Hello ChocolateBBw29, I realy enjoyed reading this sweet, touching tribute to your granny!! The describtion that you gave of her, in so well composed lines, does remind me of my late grandfather who passed away on December 14th 1998... He was all that to us as was, is, your grandma to you! In fact it feels to us he still is, as are my other grandparents who have flown away... A delight to read! Thanks for this! Greetings: Sammylin.

You are very welcome my Grandma was my true love and I just wanted to share that with all of you

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
