Grandma
Dedicated to Frances L Keenum I look at the sun I look at the sky I watch the clouds as the pass me by I sit and wonder why she had to die I sit there and want to cry She was the one there for me When no one else wanted to be She would sit there in her big old chair And tell me a story about a big old bear I would sit and listen as time went by Now do you see why I could cry I loved the smile that was on her face As she sat there and sang Amazing Grace Then I would lay down as she would tuck me in Then I would smile with a big ol' grin I never shall forget that day The day my grandma passed away Joseph Vinson Copyright ©2009 Joseph VinsonGrandma

- Well...first of all, I am sorry for your loss, Joe. This was truly written from your heart, I can tell. Joe, how about trying something new.....??...How about trying at the end of each statement that you say, start the next satement on the very next line. This way you will have your writing set up in poetry form...and it will be respected by the reader. Take care my friend.........good job!
