Green Grass

Green Grass

The Grass is green and wet,
the entire field is filled with singing birds and rain,
the whole world is being swung by its silence and affection.
The children are yet to grow up,
Adults are yet to grow older,
What we see is what we hear,
Green grass is near.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
