Hardships
We can feel ourselves as we begin to fall,It stares us in the face like an unshaken wall,
Telling us and asking us not to return,
But no matter how we fight it our will begins to burn,
Some of us know it and hate to look upon it,
But it begins to eat us up, each and every bit,
We want to change it all, return to where we were,
But scared to fall down more, we do not dare to stir,
Deep down we know we'd win if only we would fight,
We'd move ourselves through darkness till we returned to light,
So why do we choose not to move and stay so very still,
Why do we choose to let it come and devour our very will,
Why do we cower in dark unseen places,
Why don't we live in light and white laces?
