    Haunting Dreams

     Gun shots ring my ears,
    The broken memories lay ahead,
    You, and the things you did,
    All haunt my dreams.
    They deprive me from sleep,
    And I stay awake,
    To make friends with the shadows on the walls.
    They tell me, that I should get some sleep,
    But how can I sleep,
    When I know, that'll you'll never be mine?

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
