The Rain Revised
As the rain fell all around,
I couldn't help but think of you,
Then knees gave out,and i fell to the ground,
Wishing i could hear your voice.
Your voice becomes a distant memory,
That has begun to fade,
As i fall into this black abyss,
Swirling about me.
I need you now,
More than ever,
I need you to save me,
From myself.
Your words oh so sweet,
Melt my aching heart,
And frees my mind,
From this abyss.
Your eyes so kind,
Lure me into a trance,
Where i forget all my worries,
And open m,y arms to a new embrace.
So if you read this,
I miss you,
And you should come home,
To me........
