    He whispered

    He whipered, come closer
    and I struggled
He reached out, only to touch the
invisable barrier I had built around my heart and soul.
He walked away and I let him
Never knowing that when I said goodbye
what I relly ment was, please don't let me go....

interesting poem, short, but nice. speaks to those feelings we have all had from time to time. or, does it speak about a mistake some of us have made... btw, I did not know that northern michigan ' was a location in the united kingdom.....

absolutley beautiful, short and sweet, I really liked this poem tugged on my heart strings for a sec. there.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
