    Hell Within

    It is anger, fear, anxiety and ego,
    That keeps us from becoming all we can be.
    Keeps us from moving to the light,
    And away from the darkness.

    We live a life of anger to hide the fear.
    We live a life of fear to hide anxiety.
    We hide anxiety in a life of darkness.
    We hide the darkness with ego.

    It feeds on it's own circle;
    Condemning us to a life,
    Of suffering, fear and anxiety,
    That is hell within.

    dh Chisman

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
