Hunger

Hunger by John Fuentes Have you ever looked into the eyes of a hungry poet… with an idea dangling on the edge of their minds, words eager to leap off their tongues bursting into sound that’ll echo the voice of their spirit? What is it to be a poet if you do not have the itch to pen your thoughts, the desire to express, the courage to to share your truth?! What is it to be a poet, if in your gut there’s no fuel, no hunger, just a starvation of creativity?! Then you find yourself asking… Can words change the world? Ask every soul who cried into the night with one voice, declaring they will not go satisfied in silence! They will not seek solitude in a lie! They will sing the freedom songs! They will sign the petitions and march to the rhythms of their heart beats, until their feet swell in making a difference. We all are poets! We all are creatures of beauty, we all are capable of amazing feats with just our words. Yes words changes things! Words empower movement, words produce life in the non-physical form and manifest its action thru our bodies. Never fill up on your accomplishments! Never sit contempt on the knowledge your task is done! Poets live on thru the words that capture their essence…that marks their existence. Words are our legacy!! Never go on without anything to say. Say it! Feel it! Live it! Stay hungry my friends, for you too are poets of life! www.wordsthatlive.com

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
