    I can see you

I can see you, and I can feel you, but you are not there.

I lost you, but I held on to you until I knew the pain, I had to bare.

You were the light that made me feel whole, the first one who was a part of my soul.

I will feel you and love you until the day that I die, but God knows, I need to say good-bye.

I'll hold you in my dreams and will never really let you go, but can't let losing you make me feel so low.

I can see you, and I can feel you, but you are not there.

Thank you. You are my only comment, but you inspire me!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
