"I Caught Feelings..."

"I Caught Feelings..."

I caught feelings when I didn’t see it coming…

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

The harder I tried to deny it the harder I fell…

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

I thought I was in control of my heart but I should have known from the start...

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

Why didn’t I run at the first sign…now I can’t turn back the hands of time?

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

Why you gotta be here, in my thoughts and in my heart?

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

Why can’t I leave you alone, be strong, and move on?

Maybe it was in his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch

Reality sits in and it tells me that this will never be…once again he is not ready for me…

Maybe he will never be…why can’t I see? What is wrong with me?

He is so intoxicating and I want to stay under his influence, it feels like he knows the real me and fake I don’t have to be…

Maybe it was his voice, his laugh, his smile, his touch...

HOW I ENJOY TO READ THE CERTAINTY IN THE WORK!!! THE WRITER SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT SHE WRITES ABOUT, AND SHE DOES IT SO WELL... HER WORK IS 'GREAT!!!'

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
