    I dreamt of you

    I dreamt of you
    So sad were your eyes
    My heart broke
    Our time was short
    Then you were gone again
    In my dream
I cradled you in my arms
Instead of lying next to you
In my dream I was a witness to one of God's angels returning home
Instead of walking up to that fact
    Bitter Sweet
    I dreamt of you

this was a very beautiful piece short, sweet, and sad, but beautiful all the same

I like this poem it's like a dream man or woman before you go to sleep the person you have always wanted I think a lot of people can relate to that, it would be a good song if recorded but just keep writing you'll get better. grecowong@yahoo.com

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
