I LOVE YOU, JESUS

I LOVE YOU, JESUS

I was walking in my own direction,
Living life on my own
With my own pleasures and desires.
Then after many tugs from the
Holy Spirit,
I chose the straight and narrow road
Once again.
I cried out:
  "Father God,forgive me."
You accepted me with open arms,
Filled me with Your love unconditionally;
A love that I was lacking in my life for so long.
I Love You,Jesus!!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
