    I Love You

     must i venture
    deep inside,
    lost in despair,
    thats my pride.


    must I  love you?
    I hate that word,
    please, can't i fight you
    no more to be heard.


    I cherish the days,
    long left behind.
    when no hatred,
    was yours, and mine



    I grasp for the stars,
    peering into darkness
    what do I see?
    so out of my mind


    a love transended
    across many years
    no longer in reach,
    I grasp for you dearly,



    I cannot let go!

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
