    I really really do

i dont want to think that u coming into my life was a waste of time.

but now i do. i really really do.

i dont like to think that your eyes were bigger than your heart, but now i do. i really really do.

compared to all that i'll accomplish,
your conversations with me were mostly non-sense,
and the way you always led me on,
and the sexual advances you spread beyond
a computer screen to include the phone
how you called me from work cuz u sat alone
they say people come into lives for reasons,
but i think your special, because all you do is eat men
and cheapen your gender type so much
when u respect men who mistreat you and deplete your trust
and the one who always was there for you to call
you seem to grow distant to after all...

i dont want to think that u coming into my life was a waste of time.

but now i do. i really really do.

i dont like to think that your eyes were bigger than your heart, but now i do.

    i really really do.

so prove me wrong, step up to what u created
a whole lot of love, has gone a while unstated
i stay with the assumption you will never call again
so im saying my farewell, i hope i find a better friend.

i dont want to think that u coming into my life was a waste of time.

but now i do. i really really do.

i dont like to think that your eyes were bigger than your heart, but now i do. i really really do.

Ackronym I feel you on this poem - it's an excellent piece of work... KD

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
