    I Won't Be Sad

    I'm happy and I pray,
Joy of the lord please stay,
When at times I can't find my way,
Lord guide me, as I start my day.

    Rejoicing because I'm glad,
    Never wanting to be sad,
Outcome is good, I gave it all I had,
Pushed back the devil, now he's mad.

Humbleness and meekness caught my attention,
Salvation and righteousness, did I forget to mention,
Lose the pain from my heart, eveerthing I've been missing,
Mercy and grace stepped in please listen.

I won't be sad, forget what made me mad,
Find happiness and kindness in all the words I just read!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
