I wrote this poem about dmc159
How did I get to where I am?
people will ask and like Gangstarr
I'll say discipline
I mean I believe, that belief in God
brought me here today
yo' peep' dis
there are medical records showing
that I flat lined twice
I believe, that God sent me back
cause I still had more to do
luckily I don't recall a glimpse of what heaven was like
cause if I did I probably would bet the world
on me squealing like a pig
I promised God that I wouldn't say a thing
so my lips are sealed that was part of our deal
but you shouldn't believe me I mean
lets be real my flow's ill' and I'm sick dat's' not a good
combination
I'm warning I'm about to go off on a tangent
Dmc1259
I got ya' homie
you my first upafriend
I mean da ill' part is ya' look like da' ultimate homie
and dat's a fact
and on top a'dat' da' uber ill'
part is dat you white and I'm black
you's a chick and I'm a dude
puttin' us together in the publics mind would proaly'
be viewed as weak
but from ya' I can tell ya' rock a ill' swag
peace for now and big up's' to ya' dad
people will ask and like Gangstarr
I'll say discipline
