If I could
It’s been awhile since I felt his touch.
It’s been awhile since I heard his voice.
Last night it was, but too long ago
If I could, I would,
Be by his side tomorrow.
To hold his hand, to kiss his lips
To feel his tender love
To touch his heart, to touch his soul,
If I could , I would,
Be by his side tomorrow.
To see his smile, to hear his laughter
To whisper in his ear
“I love you , I want you ” Yes-
If I could, I would,
Be by his side tomorrow.
