I'm Rich and I Want You To Know

I'm Rich and I Want You To Know

No millions to spend when I feel the need

No big house and fancy cars, No vacations over seas

No butler, No maid, No big fancy jet

But I want you to know, that I'm rich without all that

Because I'll give back all the money in the world, for the love from you I see

And I'll sleep on the cold hard ground, if you're there with me

I'll open my own doors, and walk a thousand miles

For the touch of your hand and your beautiful smile

It doesn't matter where I am, or where I'll go

To be with you, I'll dig to the core of the earth below

    It's because of you

I'm Rich and I Want You To Know

This poem is short but tocuches the heart love is in the messaged I like it.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
