    Poem Commentary

this was written to the one i love
    summer pooleon

    in the begining

    The first time i saw
    you, you took my breath
    away.
The first time you spoke to me
i could barely talk, i wanted
to ask you to be mine, but
i could not find the words.
    I constantly thought of you,
and wanted you by my side,
then when you sked me i
    grew scared and broke your
heart, for i did not think i
    was worthy of you.
Seeing the pain in your eyes
    brought me stabing pains
    to my heart.
    When i worked up the
    courage and asked you to
be mine, the world felt like
    it had paused time
    holding us in that moment,
till i heard you say yes,
    and everything started moving again
and i felt love run through my veins,
because now your not only mine,
but i am yours, i will
    always cherish and love you.
