    IT WAS YOU

In the middle of the Night,
When all my heat is gone and am cold,

I saw a light in the sky,
that came to warm me up,

I thought it was a star,
    It was you.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried to reach out to you,
    but i couldnt move,

    Sentiments rule my heart,
I feel guilt from the past,

Now i found a door that leads my heart to life,
    It was you.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
I never can imagin a day without you,
but i was born without you,

I have yearned for that uncommon love,
While i grew up without you,

It was you who made my love complete,
    It was you.

Interesting repetition "it was you". A few spelling errors-pay attention to those. Keep "I" capitalized.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
