Just Let Me Say This To You

”Just Let Me Say This To You”

Just let me say this to you,
no interruptions I’ll need,
towards things I say to you,
to my words please take heed.
Since we met I cared for you,
and I always will be there,
and when you need me most my dear,
my life I’m willing to share.

Just let me say this to you,
and seriously I am speaking,
the highlights of my life you are,
and the joy that I’ve been seeking.
Your smile is like a ray of light,
which shines into my heart,
then into my body and soul,
then reaching through every part.

Your outward beauty astound me,
it attracts my fullest attention,
and the manner of your character,
is more than I can mention.
Touched by all I see in you,
I can see us combining together,
combined in Love as one my dear,
surviving through stormy weather.

Ups and downs I know we’ll face,
but strong we’ll stand you see,
around and around I’ll go with you,
cause my Love won’t ask to be free.
So let me say this to you,
before I just let you go,
“That I am the one in whom you need,
and that’s all you need to know!”

Love Always and Forever, (Ecclesiastes 9:9)

What a beautiful poem of proposed love. This is an easy read. It is also well written. Keep the words flowing. -"bustaryme"

Busta' I thank you for your comment - I plan on all my material to be an easy read from the young to old - first graded to the nursery home - my writing will not discriminate or eliminate my audience but hopefully bring them together under an understanding that I am able to display to the masses...Amen KD

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
