Kahaalidah
If Tomorrow in the Dawninga little light you see, to whom will you say thank you?
If your life were a fortress - where would one enter;
I live to show I love you,
so hard I want to try.
You need someone to listen, too what not How...as you explain why.
We all want acceptance, a place to lay our dreams,
everyone needs shelter when facing life's extremes.
I Choose to be, a cloak for you,
a tree with roots grown deep.
I want to know, All that you've hidden,
Afraid that you must, too the vest-keep.
A treasure buried or locked away can not make one rich, until it's uncovered, unlocked and set free...
If someone close said, "I Love You",
would you believe it true
Or find yourself as always before,
packing and looking for something Brand New.
