    land of darkness

    I have betrayed myself

    I stand before you as my own accuser

    Upon the earth with an empty heart and soul

    Condemned to a life of shame

    I wandered a broken path

    That’s left me in this land of darkness

    Mourning the years that was handed to death

    Now counting the days knowing he comes

    Fear a shadow over my heart

    Knowing this is just a moment in eternity

    Oh, dear god did you have a purpose for me

    Something I missed along the way

    I can’t see in this land of darkness

    And I need to find my way

    I cant die living this way
