    Life's Lesson

Looking forward to a new day,
Forgetting all this mess and starting from a clean slate.
You've got to move on with life don't live in the past,
You have to make each day better than the last.
Forgive yourself for the mistakes you've made,
Take a deep breath relax and enjoy some shade.
Thank the Lord for the things you've been gave,
Because once somethings are gone they just can't be saved.
So open your pretty eyes and see the light,
You must not live with regret in your life.
So let go of those things and don't look back,
Get your life on the right track.
Don't let any good opportunities pass,
Live each day as it's your last.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
