    Lines of her lies

    Reading lines of her lies

    Eyes wide open

    Closed mind

    Words bleeding through my soul

    Streaming fantasies of that smile

    Distant picture of her thighs

Her tongue spinning in my thoughts

I cross fingers for those I hurt

    And trigger a raw reminiscence

    Me

    Lying in empty bed

    With no gun

    But hole in my head

Very powerful piece of work, I especially liked the line "Words bleeding through my soul" it was captivating!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
