    Loosing Faith

Sometimes I feel like God don't even care
Anything is better then my life even a nightmare.

My Faith is shaken, And life is looking gray
My memories are fading of that thing called a good day.

I feel bad, sad would be an understatement
My nerves been shot, and my heart is miles under patient.

Death would be a blessing, a relief from all the sorrow,
I go to bed, scared that I will wake to see tomorrow.

Tomorrow, is a fearful thought, sure to bring nothing good,
If I wasn't scared of going to hell, Kill myself I would.

    I would...

But I can't so I just, hope for better days, and a end to the pain,
The New Orleans flood would seem a puddle, compared to my life's rain.

So I pray my faith is restored, and that God Helps me to Heal,
I can't help but to know that God is able, But I am no longer sure if he Will...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
