LOST CHILDREN
As the water flowsFrom their eyes
I reach down
To clean their faces
Little children
Who are lost
No parents
In these open spaces
Countries are at war
And they fight for their lives
Never forget them
As we live our lives...
LOST CHILDREN
As the water flowsThe true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
