    9/11 tribute written 9/13 after 2 days of crying

    Love Will Never Fade (In the USA)

     The Eagle has lost some feathers and our rivers fill with tears
    Friends they now surround us, first time it's happened in years
    And the feeling won't go away in the USA

    Red and White define us, crossed the Blue driven by the stars
    The native and the landed become the pioneers
    And the feeling won't go away in the USA

    Now I pray every day for the souls I never knew
    It will never go away, God what they put us through
    I say love will never fade in the USA

    May the good Lord give us the guidance so that justice will prevail
    Even the President has told us this fight shall not fail
    I say love will never fade in the USA

    Great patriotic piece. I love the sense of brotherhood/sisterhood your poem seems to call on for America to stay the proud country she is. What the world needs now is love, sweet love...
