    Love

I have lived my life as if love was a feeling I would truly never know.
To be lonely in a crowd of people, sometimes wanting to be one of the unknown.
A handshake an autograph, and here take a picture please,
Always wandering if forever was in the cards for me.
You say everything happens for a reason, just take today for what it is,
Your right God had a plan, through it you have shown me what love truly is.
Not a physical attraction of a women and a man,
But love for me and the two little boy’s, who love to hold your hand.
Your life has brought joy to these three men, who have never seen it face to face,
All of whom will fight for the first dance.
No matter who dances first, theirs no loser in that race,
So keep your heart open, and your guard tucked away,
Knowing forever we are here to protect you along the way.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
