    Marriage and relationship partners tend to be similar to one of our parents in some ways, or they tend to fill a need or desire that one of our parents was unable to fill when we were children.

    A new style of writing a poem, some kind of a philosophical statement but could be true. Which parent then?

    Some I believe in relationships carry luggage with them, then again some choose not to. You bring a very valued point Great poem. Keep writing.
